We will pay you based on the weight and the purity of your gold jewellery.
Should you have any stones or diamonds, you are more than welcome to remove these before sending your gold jewellery to us as we do not pay any extra for these.
Contact us via our online enquiry form or telephone us, and we can provide an approximate quotation for your gold jewellery. The approximate quotation is limited to the information you provide to us. Until we receive and assay your items, we are unable to finalise our offer to you.
If you don't know the weight or purity of your gold jewellery, don't worry too much – we can check this when we receive it.
Our pricing may vary day to day, and more is paid for larger quantities.
When sending your gold jewellery to us, make sure that you package and conceal your gold jewellery carefully. Please refer to our link buying gold jewellery info (how to send your gold to us) for important tips on transporting jewellery to us. We recommend that you use Australia Registered Post as this provides an insurance cover up to $5000.00 for a very reasonable price.
When your parcel is delivered to our store, we will inspect it for any damage. If the packaging is damaged, we will refuse to sign and accept delivery of your parcel.
Your package is initially weighed and cross checked with the weight you have written on the package. If the weight is different, we will not proceed with opening the package and we will contact you. If no weight is declared on the parcel, the customer will assume the risk of the contents of the parcel being complete.
All parcels are opened and handled under a recorded security surveillance system.
Items are checked against the items listed on your declaration form. We will then proceed to assay all of your gold jewellery.
The above procedures are followed to protect all parties. Should a discrepancy arise, we can refer back to the security surveillance system.
Any gold jewellery items that do not test as gold or are gold plated will be returned to you
We will contact you by your preferred contact method listed on the completed declaration form. Should you accept our offer, we will need to have received the original copy of your fully completed and signed declaration form to finalise the transaction, and for us to then proceed and make a payment to you.
Payment options include direct deposit, cheque, or we can pay you with cash should you come into our store by prior arrangement as only a limited amount of cash is kept on the premises.
